WHO Photo Contest "Images of Health and Disability 2005- 2006"

After the successful launch of the WHO Photo Contest in 2002 in
conjunction with the release of the International Classification of
Functioning, Disability and Health (ICF), the World Health
Organization (WHO) invites photographers around the world to
participate in an international photo contest -- "Images of Health and
Disability 2005-2006".

This years main theme is on children and youth with a special
invitation for young photographers. Two special awards will be given
for the best photos: (i) for children up to 12 years old and (ii) for
teenagers between 13 and 17 years old. Furthermore, we have a special
theme on Health & Disability at Work.

Photos can be submitted until 31 March 2006 in five categories: (1)
Colour photographs (digital or prints); (2) Black and white photographs
(digital or prints); (3) Digital Art photographs (images created or
drastically manipulated by computer software or electronic filters);
(4) Special call category I: Children up to 12 years old. Submissions
can be made as colour, black and white or digital art photographs; (5)
Special call category II: Teenagers between 13 and 17 years old.

photographs

The prizes in each category reach from 100 to 1.000 US-Dollars.
