The Case Annual Common Reading Program Essay Contest for First Year Students

After reading Tracy Kidder's Mountains Beyond Mountains, you may elect to enter Case's annual Common Reading Essay Contest. Overseen by the Office of Educational Services for Students, the contest provides an opportunity for students to reflect on the book, to analyze selected topics, and to express opinions and reactions.

Thanks to the generosity of the Case Baker-Nord Center for the Humanities, this year's winners will each receive a $200 University Bookstore gift certificate. President Hundert will announce the winners of the essay contest and award prizes at the annual all-class Share the Vision Orientation program, Thursday, August 25, in Severance Hall.
