the Cambridge IGCSE 20th Birthday Essay Competition

The University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) is working with schools around the world to hold the Cambridge IGCSE 20th Birthday Essay Competition for students studying the Cambridge IGCSE. The essay titled is `Modern Developments: Learning from the Past and Looking to the Future'. Students must choose one aspect of human life and society that reflects the speed of development and explore what it was like 20 years ago, how it has changed, and what it may be like in 2025. A panel comprising eminent persons, including Mike Baker, BBC education correspondent, would judge the essays. Prizes include educational trips and books.
