With this new invitation, which began as a contest for a book, but will
now remain an ongoing initiative, we continue to seek your viewpoints in
essays to help attract attention to malaria as the persistent killer it is. We are
seeking short 500 word essays from individuals with a variety of backgrounds
who are willing to share their viewpoints to help open other’s minds – especially
those hearing about malaria for the first time - and to induce all readers to
‘stretch’ their mind - for the benefit of those suffering from malaria primarily. In
this open call for participation, we especially seek those who are willing to rise up
among new leaders, to take a stand, and be heard.
Remember that your words could prove to be highly influential and
groundbreaking. Aim to reach the broadest audience, realizing that each person
