PDN's General Contest Questions Answered.

Entry Fees

Single entry: $45
Campaign/Series: $55
Student: $25 (single or series)

A series includes multiple images or pages that make up part of a single unit (e.g., an ad campaign, a magazine article, a brochure or a calendar).

All material must be clearly related in terms of content and design. There is no limit to the number of images that make up a series.

Awards

The Marty Forscher Fellowship recognizes students and young professionals with a talent for humanistic photography. The fund will award two grants in 2004. Photographers are eligible by entering humanistic documentary images to the PDN Photo Annual in the student and/or editorial/photojournalism categories. The Fellowship is sponsored by Parsons and Photo District News.

1 Students will receive $1,500
1 Professional photographer will receive $2,000

The Canon Student Explorer of Light Scholarship Award will be presented to a student photographer who demonstrates a unique vision and ability. All students of photography are eligible for this contest. The winner will receive a scholarship award in the amount of $2,000.

The Epson Creativity Award will be presented in the personal work category for originality and creativity. The winner will receive a prize in the amount of $2,000.

The Nikon Storyteller Award will be presented to a photographer who possesses a unique, visual talent to tell stories with their photography. The winner will receive a prize in the amount of $2,000.
